Modern composite materials in major parts and the latest microprocessors are used. Priority has been given to the safety aspects of the chair, considering the patient as well as the operator. As an example, all electrical circuits including the two motors are low voltage (29V) that minimize any electrical hazards. There are built-in security switches that stop all chair movements and cut out all automatic functions immediately in the event of any obstruction in the downward movement. A sophisticated self-diagnosis program is built into the chair's computer for fast detection of the fault, should anything go wrong.
The F1 continental style whip arm is excellent. There is absolutely no drag on the handpieces and the arms have good reach and flexibility. Superior infection control, the autoclavable silicone cover on the handpiece bridge eliminates brackets, handpiece holders and tangled tubing, making cleaning very easy. One of the best and unique cleaning features is that the entire dentist's module can swing over the top of the patient to the assistant's side. If this is done before the patient's final rinse, cleaning procedures can be carried out swiftly and efficiently without the assistant having to move from her side of the surgery.
